  1. Buildings and grounds (except sleeping facilities) are considered closed after 12:00 a.m. midnight. The lights in the conference and service buildings will be turned out and the buildings locked at 12:00 a.m. Programs should be coordinated to fit into this schedule. A curfew of 12:00 a.m. has been established in order that all guests at Eastover may enjoy a quiet and peaceful night of rest. Directors, sponsors, and counselors are expected to cooperate with its enforcement. Manager must give approval for any variation.
  2. Open fires are prohibited except in areas designated by management.
  3. Guests are to refrain from taking or destroying trees, shrubs, wildflowers, ancient shells, and other natural landscape.
  4. Climbing on the Manor slope is strictly forbidden. It is not only dangerous, but pulls loose vegetation which holds the soil and bank in place.
  5. Firecrackers and firearms of any nature are strictly forbidden.
  6. The killing of wild animals, with the exception of rodents or poisonous snakes is forbidden.
  7. Smoking is forbidden inside all buildings, including bathrooms and sleeping quarters.
  8. The speed limit is 15 mph throughout the retreat center.
Pedestrians here are not thinking about vehicle traffic. Please be careful.
  9. All persons using the grounds for any purpose must register with the office.
  10. All persons occupying rooms will be held responsible for the equipment and property of said room during their stay there.
  11. Attire at Eastover should be modest and appropriate for a Christian atmosphere. Short shorts, extremely short skirts or dresses, and two piece swimming suits are inappropriate. Modest attire is to be worn over swimming suits when going to and from the pool or beach areas. Cooperation is required to create a positive Christian witness.
  12. No dogs or pets (except for the seeing impaired) are permitted in any of the accommodations.
  13. Use of or possession of alcoholic beverages or illicit drugs is forbidden at Eastover. Guests may be asked to leave and will forfeit any right to refund.

Insurance

The retreat center carries a Blanket Camper Accident and Sickness Insurance policy on registered guests. Persons are covered for eligible medical expenses while they are staying at Eastover and while traveling directly and without interruption between the retreat center and the registered guest's residence during a period of 48 hours before or after the covered activity. All accidents incurred at Eastover must be reported to the management. When guests fail to report accidents before leaving the grounds, the camp cannot assume responsibility for the accident; nor will the retreat center insurance cover costs if post-camp complications develop. No medical bills can be charged to Eastover without management authorization.

Group Schedule

It is requested that each group submit a printed schedule of activities while at Eastover. This will help the office in coordination and ensuring a retreat environment for all.
